You purchased a Jeep Cherokee from model years 2014 and up; while it's a terrific car, the dashboard makes it challenging to replace the original radio. The Maestro ADS-MRR module, which is offered separately, and the iDatalink KIT-CHK1 provide you with everything you need to install and connect an iDatalink-capable double-DIN (4" tall) audio in your Jeep. You'll keep your Jeep's useful features as well:

• Both your aux input and USB ports
• Audio controls on the steering wheel
• Back-up video (if equipped)
• Amplifier with a fader and speed-compensated volume, if available.
• Parking assist jingle

For vehicles with factory-installed 8" screens, this package enables you to watch your climate control display on the new radio's screen. Additionally, you'll be able to read and reset engine codes on the screen, monitor performance gauges, and more. The kit comes with silver and bronze trim rings to match the factory trim on your car.

Jeep Cherokee Dash Kit & Vehicle Harness for Integration

The iDatalink Maestro KIT-CHK1 is an integration dash kit and car harness made exclusively for some Jeep Cherokee models from 2014 and up (all trim levels, including Sport). The KIT-CHK1 enables you to swap out the factory radio of your 2014–up Jeep Cherokee with a compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer aftermarket head unit equipped with an iDatalink Serial Port when used in conjunction with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately). *Purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (available separately) and download of a vehicle-specific firmware from iDatalink's Weblink Desktop are prerequisites for the iDatalink Maestro KIT-CHK1 (for Windows and Mac) The KIT-CHK1 does not retain U-Connect.*

Features Retained

When your aftermarket head unit is swapped out for a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit made by Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer utilising the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-CHK1 installation kit, the following factory functions (if applicable) are kept.

• Factory Amplifier: Retains factory amplifier (if equipped) with amplifier turn-on, speed compensated volume, digital fader, DSP settings, and gain adjustment.
• Steering Wheel Controls: Retains factory steering wheel controls with two functions on each button for standard and expanded radio functions.
• Climate Control & Vehicle Settings: Climate control & display are offered on the aftermarket radio, as well as access to modify vehicle settings.
• Factory Knobs & Buttons: Factory knobs and buttons will continue to operate aftemarket stereo.
• Backup Camera w/ Park Assist: Retains the factory backup camera with parking guidelines. Plus, retains park assist chimes and distance display on screen.
• USB/Aux Ports: Retains both factory USB (type-A) ports and the one factory Aux (3.5mm) input.
